E 1.5.2 : Who were the ones, that took The Adult Christian Immersion Water Baptism, in the New Testament ?
1. Those who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ
Those who believed that Jesus is the Messiah (= Christ, the Anointed One) : that He is Lord and the Son of God. Acts 2:41-42; 8:34-38; 16:30-32; 19:1-6
2. Those who accepted the Good News / God’s Word / The Scriptures Acts 8:14-17; 10: 44-46; Rom 10: 9, 10
a) . Those who accepted the *Gospel of Jesus Christ *Gospel = Good News.
The Good News is : Jesus came for me; He suffered for me; He was crucified for me; He died for me; He was buried for me; On the third day, He was resurrected for me (in order to destroy all the works of the evil one against me); He was taken up to Heaven for me; He will appear to me and will be revealed to me; He will come back again for me, and I will be transformed into His likeness and live with Him in Heaven eternally 1 Cor 15:3-5; 1 Thess. 4:17
b) Those who accepted God’s Word gladly, and were willing to come out of the perverse generation
Acts 2: 41-42
c) Those who believed that Jesus Christ is the Way to Father God, the Truth and the Life ; and also believed in the sacrificial atoning death of Jesus Christ on the Cross for Deliverance & Salvation
d) Those who believed that : when one believes on Jesus Christ and confesses that He is Lord, such a person will receive forgiveness of the confessed sins & Salvation 1 John 1:9
3. Those who were devout, were God-fearing, helped the poor and prayed to God regularly (just as Cornelius was) Acts 10: 2, 44-48
4. A few believers received it immediately after receiving the Holy Spirit Baptism Acts 9: 17-18; 10:44-48

Those who received a miracle from God like Paul, had a Divine encounter with Jesus, repented and accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord

After hearing Peter’s sermon about Jesus Christ of Nazareth on the Day of Pentecost
7. All those who are disciples of Christ Matt. 28 : 19 , 20
